VEP and ERG TestingElectroretinography (ERG) technology helps eye care specialists gain objective, functional information about the performance of the inner retinal cells of the eye, especially in the macula. Our office offers two ERG modules – Contrast Sensitivity and Concentric Stimulus Fields. Visual Evoked Potential (VEP) to objectively measure the functional responses of the entire visual pathway from the anterior segment of the eye to the visual cortex.

iWellness Screenings
Like an MRI of the eye, the iWellness scan is a screening test using Spectral-Domain OCT technology that helps to identify early signs of retinal structural changes that may be associated with ocular diseases. These early structural changes may not be visible with direct or indirect opthalmoscopy.

Dark Adaptation Testing
Age-related macular degeneration
(AMD) is the leading cause of adult vision loss in the US. Fortunately, the AdaptDx test can help prevent vision loss by detecting AMD at least 3 years earlier. The AdaptDx tests your ability to adapt from bright light to darkness. It is completely painless and easy to perform. Better still, it provides a straightforward, objective score to help your doctor know whether you have AMD so that measures can be implemented right away to help prevent vision loss. |
The TearLab Osmolarity System* is intended to measure the osmolarity of human tears to aid in the diagnosis of dry eye disease in patients suspected of having dry eye disease, in conjunction with other methods of clinical evaluation.
Dry eye is a multifactorial disease of the tears and ocular surface that results in symptoms of discomfort, visual disturbance, and tear film instability with potential damage to the ocular surface. It is accompanied by increased osmolarity of the tear film and inflammation of the ocular surface. *TearLab is for professional in vitro diagnostic use only. |
