RETeval Hand Held Full Field ERG
Electroretinography is an electrophysiological test of the retina, the layer of the eye which detects light. The electroretinogram (ERG) is to the retina what the electrocardiogram (ECG) is to the heart. Just as an ECG is crucial to diagnosing illness and monitoring the heart’s function, ERG plays a critical role in the care of the eye, and is instrumental in the early detection of retinal dysfunction. Electroretinography provides a wealth of objective, vital information about retinal function and health. ERG plays a vital role in the diagnosis of acquired and inherited eye diseases, as well as fuel research into the factors that affect the health of the retina or the visual pathways.
Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP) provide objective, quantitative information about central vision function in a non-invasive manner. This is new information that is complementary to the structural analysis obtained from technologies such as OCT and Fundus photography and augments subjective information from standard visual acuity and perimetry.
Dark Adaptation Testing
Age-related macular degeneration
(AMD) is the leading cause of adult
vision loss in the US. Fortunately, the
AdaptDx test can help prevent vision loss
by detecting AMD at least 3 years earlier.
The AdaptDx tests your ability to adapt from bright light to darkness. It is completely painless and easy to perform. Better still, it provides a straightforward,
objective score to help your doctor know
whether you have AMD so that measures can be implemented right away to help prevent vision loss.
The TearLab Osmolarity System* is intended to measure the osmolarity of human tears to aid in the diagnosis of dry eye disease in patients suspected of having dry eye disease, in conjunction with other methods of clinical evaluation.
Dry eye is a multifactorial disease of the tears and ocular surface that results in symptoms of discomfort, visual disturbance, and tear film instability with potential damage to the ocular surface. It is accompanied by increased osmolarity of the tear film and inflammation of the ocular surface.
*TearLab is for professional in vitro diagnostic use only.
There’s no substitute for the quality of life that good vision offers. Adding certain nutrients to your diet every day – either through foods or supplements – can help save your vision.
Through years of research, we discovered the impact key nutrients have on all aspects of sight. Since we couldn’t find a solution on the market, we made our own. EyePromise is an entire line of eye health and visual performance products, each with a focus on specific conditions and outcomes.
